To mark the launch of Quentin Tarantino’s film The Hateful Eight and its thrilling score from Ennio Morricone, Globe Productions filmed Morricone as he conducted the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in a live recording of the soundtrack over two days at Abbey Road. The Hateful 8 represents the first time Quentin Tarantino has allowed anyone to completely score one of his movies, while it also marked the Maestro’s first score for a western in over 20 years. Tarantino and actors Kurt Russell and Walton Goggins attended the special event at Abbey Road Studios where hand-stamped direct-to-vinyl editions were made and offered as a gift to selected fans.
